Sadly over the last 50 years, we have lost over 38 million birds from our UK skies and it’s vital we do our very best to look after them now. By gathering information and sending it to the RSPB charity, they are able to build a picture of how our feathered friends are fairing. Then can then figure out which birds need help and where. Last year more than a million people took part!

We are lucky to have a wonderful range of beautiful and colourful wild birds in this country and watching them in the garden is one of life’s simple pleasures. Providing food for the birds all year round is a great way of helping to conserve and even promote their populations. It also helps them through natural food shortages and the colder months of the year when food is harder to find.

We have a large bird care department with everything you need to help our feathered friends. With brands such as Tom Chambers and Peckish, a variety of bird tables and feeders and great offers on specialist feeds you’re sure to find just what you’re looking for.

Different birds feed in different ways, therefore providing a variety of food in various ways attracts much more diversity to any garden.
